The mission of the Future Leaders Incubator Fund is to back young people to continue to make meaningful and impactful impact on their communities.

acCESS TO JOY: HEALING THROUGH THEATRE
Urban Project
Access to Joy: Healing Through Theatre is a vibrant, transformative 12-week program designed to uplift LGBTQ+ youth from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Harnessing the power of theatre, participants dive into imaginative drama games and exercises, creating a safe space to explore identity, express emotions, and unlock authentic joy. Weekly sessions culminate in an optional performance, celebrating their journeys with friends and family. Beyond the stage, the initiative crafts a facilitator toolkit, rich with culturally sensitive resources and video guides, ensuring the program’s magic can inspire communities far and wide.
Addressing the deep mental health disparities faced by these youth, Access to Joy is more than a program—it's a beacon of creativity, healing, and hope, lighting the way to a brighter, more inclusive future.
The rainbow roundtable
Regional Project
The Rainbow Roundtable aims to address the pervasive nature of discrimination and miseducation on queer issues in rural and regional areas.
This will be addressed through four key areas: addressing internalised prejudices; demonstrating safe conversations and language; facilitating community connection and growth; and, assisting queer youth in rural and regional communities feel safe, heard, respected, and connected.
The Rainbow Roundtable will produce four education resource packets to be delivered by young queer people and community leaders in their communities. Each packet would focus on a different age group - children, young people, and the older community. This would enable young queer leaders and community leaders to educate their community and start conversations in a safe way and a way they know their community would respond.
