ALICE LANGTON
FOUNDER & CHAIRPERSON
Through her studies and experiences to date, Alice has learned that the path to advancing human rights requires both hearts and minds. Since returning from Geneva in 2024, Alice has based herself in the Northern Territory where she has previously served the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency and currently as a Senior Policy Advisor with the Aboriginal Peak Organisations NT. In all areas of her work, Alice drives policy and law reform that strengthens Aboriginal justice systems, working alongside Aboriginal-controlled organisations, communities, governments, and diverse experts to pursue transformative change.
Alice’s influence extends globally, with contributions to the United Nations, Geneva Human Rights Platform, IOM, ChildFund International, Oaktree Foundation, OECD, ICRC, and supporting government programs across the Global South. She has played a key role in strengthening Treaty Body engagement, supporting human rights tracking tools, and shaping legal frameworks to protect the human rights of the most vulnerable of communities. Her expertise in government accountability, human rights, and policy has informed international best practices and driven systemic change at both grassroots and institutional levels.
Committed to fostering the next generation of leaders, Alice continues to drive measurable, evidence-based impact toward a more just and equitable world.

TAYLAH SPIROVSKI
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Taylah is a tenacious and fiercely vocal young lawyer. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, Taylah helps run our organisation and coordinates policy-based projects and initiatives to educate young people and advance the rights of marginalised communities. Taylah is an active member of community with a range of volunteer experience behind her.
In 2020, Taylah graduated from UOW with a Bachelors of Laws and a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In 2021, Taylah was admitted as a solicitor. Taylah is actively engaged in influencing the wider legal profession. Taylah is the Vice President of NSW Young Lawyers, as well as the Chair of their Communications, Entertainment and Technology Law Committee - all while working full-time at the largest legal partnership in Australia.
Taylah is a strong voice for women’s rights, where across all of her publications and grassroots activism, she agitates for policy development and law reform that will contribute to a more safe, fair and equal world. To this tune, Taylah also sits on the Board of Women Illawarra, a not-for-profit welfare organisation run by women for women.
In all of her work, Taylah strives for both sustainability and social impact. She is committed to the protection of human rights and amplifying diverse voices.

Caity Suchanow
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Caity is an Australian Public Servant who is a dedicated advocate for human rights and who has a keen focus on international relations, war crimes and crimes against humanity. adapted in the ever-evolving world.
In 2020, Caity graduated from UNE with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology and was recently admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW. Caity is actively engaged in educating and motivating the wider legal profession on human rights and international relations through her work as a Submissions Coordinator for NSW Young Lawyers International Law Committee, a subsidiary of the NSW Law Society.
Caity is passionate about raising awareness and educating the masses on war crimes, crimes against humanity, the acknowledgement and formal framework for a Bill of Rights in Australia and the adaptation of efficient international/Magnitsky sanctions in Australia.
Caity is excited to contribute to the great work that the Legal and Political sub-committee is undertaking. She is ready to make an impact by engaging with those in all levels of decision-making and broader members of the public to ensure that we are effecting the change we all desperately need.n goes here

Elisa Simunovich

Elisa is a lawyer deeply committed to human rights and international development, with a career that goes beyond traditional legal practice. Elisa combines her legal expertise with strategic thinking, project and risk management, and operational skills to create meaningful and lasting impact.
As the Risk, Compliance, and Operations Manager at The Hunger Project Australia, Elisa focuses on strengthening risk management process, compliance frameworks, and governance practices to support our organisations of achieving a more equal world.
Elisa’s experience in the nonprofit sector has given her a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities. She is passionate about assisting organisations build strong foundations to succeed while staying true to their mission. -
Bukhosi Masango
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Bukhosi is a dedicated advocate for human rights and community empowerment, combining legal expertise with a deep commitment to social justice. With experience in legal research, governance, and fundraising, he has worked across various sectors to amplify marginalized voices and drive systemic change. As a paralegal at Inner Melbourne Community Legal and a former legal volunteer at Justice Connect, Bukhosi has supported vulnerable communities through family law and homelessness advocacy.
Beyond his legal work, Bukhosi has a strong track record in fundraising and stakeholder engagement, having served as Relationships Manager at International Needs Australia and Fundraising Coordinator at Beyond Blue. His leadership in grassroots initiatives, including Possible Dreams International and the QuadPara Association Western Cape, has contributed to significant funding for scholarships, housing, and disability advocacy.
Passionate about youth-driven social change, Bukhosi aligns with Voices of Influence Australia's mission to empower young Australians in civic participation, making him a valuable asset in shaping advocacy and leadership initiatives.

Genevieve Marcocci
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Gen is a recognised champion for justice, human rights, and equity, dedicated to creating meaningful change in communities. As a Law Graduate currently seconded at the Women’s Legal Service NSW, she has conducted extensive research on domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV), contributing to advocacy, funding strategies, and survivor empowerment initiatives. Her work at the Castan Human Rights Centre and JobWatch has further demonstrated her commitment to improving access to legal systems, particularly for marginalized communities.
Beyond her legal expertise, Genevieve has a strong background in public policy, research, and community engagement. As the Founder & Director of the Global Questions podcast, she led discussions on pressing global issues, amplifying young voices in political discourse. Her leadership in various organizations, including the Monash Law Student Society, highlights her dedication to fostering inclusive spaces.
Genevieve is driven by a vision of systemic change and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Voices of Influence Australia.

Gisele Li
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Gisele is a dedicated human rights advocate and solicitor committed to social justice and youth empowerment. Outside of her role with Voices of Influence Australia, Gisele sits as Co-Chair of the UN Women Australia Canberra Committee where she leads a team of volunteers across media, partnerships, and events, driving strategic initiatives that support gender equality and community impact. With a legal background specialising in international and comparative law, she has worked extensively in advocacy, governance, and policy, assisting vulnerable communities.
Beyond the law, Gisele has been an active force in youth-led initiatives, including her work with Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT and the Student Think Tank for Europe and Asia Relations. Passionate about uplifting marginalised voices, she excels in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project delivery. Her intersectional approach to human rights and leadership ensures impactful contributions to organisations driving systemic change.
Gisele is committed to mobilising her skills and relationships to empower young Australians to take active roles in shaping the future of human rights and democracy.

Kate Langley
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kate is currently a Policy Analyst at the Commonwealth Government's Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water. She is part of a dynamic Taskforce implementing Australia's commitments to the UN Global Biodiversity Framework. With a background in migration policy, Kate was previously a Research Manager and Migration Analyst, managing a global team of researchers across 6 countries in Asia and the Middle East.
Passionate about social impact, she serves as the sole SA/NT youth advisor representative and on the SA/NT Activism Leadership Committee for Amnesty International Australia, leading human rights activism in her region. Kate is dedicated to advocating for those not often heard, and is on the Board for intellectual disability organisation Citizens Advocacy South Australia, and youth empowerment/human rights organisation Voices of Influence. She is also a proud member of the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Recognized as an ASEAN-Australian Young Leader, Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations delegate, United Nations Young Leader’s Program participant, and Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program delegate.

NIAMH CALLINAN
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (LEGAL AND POLITICAL AFFAIRS)
Niamh strongly believes that youth deserve to have their voice heard and importantly, that their voices should have an influential impact. Niamh's extensive work with UN Youth NSW helped instill her strongly-held belief that youth have the right ideas, empathy and perseverance to bring about much needed structural change.
In 2021, Niamh was selected to be a Scholar with Global Voices, where she represented Australia as a Delegate for the Youth20 Working Group of the G20 and has since published a policy paper. She also undertook a fellowship with Young Australians in International Affairs, during which time she focused her work on a variety of topics relating to Europe and Eurasia. Niamh has written about the concepts of smart diplomacy and exploring international gender equality and empowerment.

Phoebe Britten
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Phoebe is an internationally recognised youth advisor passionate about advancing gender equality, civic engagement, and educational equity.
In 2023, she was the youngest member of the Youthwise International Public Policy Advisory board at the OECD, representing the voices of 4.7 million young Australians in global decision-making. She is a Board Director at Voices of Influence Australia and one of 17 young feminist leaders on the Global Youth Committee at the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership.
At 19, Phoebe founded Inspire Tomorrow Education, a youth-led nonprofit providing free tutoring and scholarship support to disadvantaged Australian students. In conjunction with studying Law at the University of Sydney, she was named as the youngest-ever Top 100 Future Leader by the Australian Financial Review and the youngest Top 25 Young Women To Watch in International Affairs (2024) by YAIA.
