TERMS OF CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is Voices of Influence Australia Ltd trading as Voices of Influence Australia (ABN 56 661 836 022), a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (VOI or the Promoter).

1.3 These terms apply to the VOI Instagram giveaway (the Promotion). By entering, each entrant agrees to these terms. Information on how to enter and on the prize forms part of these terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry who hold a social media account.
2.2 The following people are not eligible to enter. Directors, employees, contractors and volunteers of VOI, and anyone else connected with running the Promotion.
2.3 VOI may ask any entrant to provide proof of age, identity or residency. An entrant who cannot provide satisfactory proof within the time requested may be disqualified.
3. Promotional period
3.1 The Promotion opens at 10:00am AEDT on Friday, 23rd October 2026 and closes at 11.59pm AEDT on Sunday 25th of October 2026 (the Promotional Period).
3.2 All times in these terms are Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Sydney time). Entrants in other time zones are responsible for converting times.
3.3 Entries received after the Promotional Period closes will not be accepted. The time of entry is the time the comment is recorded by Instagram.
4. How to enter
4.1 Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, during the Promotional Period an eligible entrant must do all of the following:
Respond to the YWS 2026
Share a YWS Promotion post published on VOI's social accounts
Like the post and comment ‘responded’ on the Promotion post
Optional: Tag one friend who would genuinely be interested in participating in the YWS survey.
4.2 Each eligible entrant may enter once only. Posting more than one comment, or tagging more than one friend, does not create additional entries.
4.3 Entrants must only tag real people they know, using their own personal Instagram account. Entrants must not tag accounts inaccurately, tag themselves or others in any image, or use fake, duplicate or business accounts to enter. The tagged friend is not entered into the promotion unless they complete the entry steps themselves.
4.5 Comments must be respectful and lawful. VOI may remove any comment, and disqualify any entrant, that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, spam or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Prize
5.1 There is three prizes, being a redeemable Visa Gift Card valued at $100 including GST (recommended retail value). The total prize pool is $300.
5.2 The prize value is correct at the time these terms were published. VOI accepts no responsibility for any change in value between publication and the date the prize is claimed.
5.3 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any terms set by the prize supplier (including gift card expiry dates) apply.
5.4 If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond VOI's reasonable control, VOI may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable law.
5.5 The prize will be delivered by email for a digital gift card within 14 days of the winner providing their details.
6. Winner selection
6.1 This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
6.2 The draw will take place on Monday, 2nd of November 2026.
6.3 Before the draw, VOI will remove comments that are duplicates or that do not meet these terms. If the comment drawn belongs to an ineligible entrant or does not comply with these terms, it will be discarded and a further comment drawn until a valid entry is selected.
6.4 VOI will keep the draw certificate as a record. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Notification, claiming and unclaimed prize
7.1 VOI will notify the winner by Instagram direct message from @voicesofinfluenceau within 2 business days of the draw. VOI will never ask the winner for a password, bank details or payment of any kind. Messages from any other account claiming to be VOI should be ignored and reported.
7.2 To claim the prize, the winner must reply to the direct message within 5 business days of it being sent, providing their full name, email address, and confirmation that they meet the eligibility requirements.
7.3 If the winner does not claim the prize within that time, or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited. VOI will conduct a redraw on Tuesday 2 Feb 2027 using the same method. The redraw winner will be notified and must claim in the same way.
7.4 If a redraw prize is also unclaimed, VOI may conduct further redraws until the prize is awarded.
8. Publication of winner
8.1 The winner's first name and Instagram handle will be announced on VOI's Instagram account within 7 days of the prize being claimed.
8.2 By accepting the prize, the winner consents to this announcement. Any further use of the winner's name, image or story in VOI's communications will only occur with their separate consent.
9. Instagram disclaimer and release
9.1 This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
9.2 By entering, each entrant provides a complete release of Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion.
9.3 Entrants must comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Any questions or complaints about the Promotion should be directed to VOI, not Instagram.

10. Privacy
10.1 VOI collects entrants' Instagram handles and comments when they enter. From the winner only, VOI also collects their full name, email address, and proof of eligibility if requested.
10.2 This information is collected only to run the Promotion, which includes verifying eligibility, conducting the draw, contacting the winner, delivering the prize, announcing the winner and keeping records.
10.3 VOI will not add entrants to any mailing list or send them marketing messages as a result of entering, unless they separately opt in.
10.4 VOI will only disclose personal information to the prize supplier, to the draw tool provider, or where required by law. Information is stored securely and the winner's contact details will be deleted [12] months after the prize is delivered.
10.5 Entrants can ask to access or correct their information, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting VOI at secretariat@voicesofinfluence.com.au
11. General conditions
11.1 VOI may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, uses automated or bulk entry methods, provides false information or otherwise breaches these terms.
11.2 If the Promotion cannot run as planned for reasons beyond VOI's reasonable control (including technical failure, fraud or changes to Instagram), VOI may, subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion. Any change will be announced on VOI's Instagram account.
11.3 VOI is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not recorded because of Instagram or any technical issue outside its control.
11.4 To the extent permitted by law, VOI excludes liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from the Promotion or the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11.5 Winners should seek their own advice on any tax implications of the prize. VOI accepts no responsibility for any tax liability.
11.6 Based on the total prize pool of $300 and free entry, VOI understands that no permit or licence is required in any Australian state or territory. Should a permit become required, the relevant permit number will be published here.
11.7 These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
